Established in 2014, our family run childcare setting is dedicated to helping every child feel happy, safe and valued.
We believe children learn best through play, exploration and discovery. Our experienced and caring team supports each child's individual development, encouraging confidence, independence and a life long love of learning.

Keeping Your Little Monkeys Safe:
At Little Monkeys, your child's safety, happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We provide a warm, caring and secure environment where every child feels safe, valued and supported.
Our setting follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), safeguarding and welfare requirements, with clear policies and procedures in place to protect the children in our care.
Our team receives regular safeguarding training, and we maintain up to date paediatric first aid qualifications and safety procedures. Our safeguarding and safety policies are always available for parents to view, providing peace of mind.
We work closely with parents to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care. Through open communication and a shared commitment to children's safety and wellbeing, we create a nurturing environment where little ones can feel happy, secure and confident.

Meet the Team:
Abbey
Abbey is the proud owner of Little Monkeys Childcare and has been in childcare since 2012. She opened Little Monkeys in 2014 alongside her mum, with a shared passion for creating a happy, loving and nurturing home from home environment where children feel safe, settled and truly cared for.
As well as being a childcare professional, Abbey is also a proud mum to her daughter, which has made her love for watching little ones grow and develop even more special.
Abbey holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, an up to date paediatric first aid certificate and has completed safeguarding and other essential training, ensuring children receive safe, high quality care every day.
Abbey loves seeing children build confidence, discover new things and make special memories along the way.
Yvonne
Yvonne is Abbey's mum and co-owner of Little Monkeys, having worked alongside Abbey since 2014.
A proud mum to Abbey and her older brother, Yvonne has always had a natural nurturing nature and a love for watching little ones grow.
Having previously worked in accounts, Yvonne took the leap into a new career, leaving office life behind to build Little Monkeys alongside Abbey from her own home. She is Level 3 qualified, DBS checked, safeguarding trained and holds a Food Hygiene qualification.
Yvonne loves being part of the children's everyday adventures, watching their little personalities develop and helping every child feel happy, loved and right at home.
Holly
Holly has been part of our team since she was 16 years old, when she first joined us as an apprentice. During this time, she has gained valuable experience and has achieved both her Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Early Years Education. Holly is also paediatric first aid trained and has received essential training in safeguarding.
Holly's favourite thing about working in childcare is watching the children grow and develop into their own little characters, seeing their individual characters shine through as they learn and reach new milestones.
Ruby
Ruby is Holly's sister and also joined our team in 2025. She brings over two and a half years of experience from Kids Planet, where she worked her way up to room leader. Ruby has completed her Level 2 qualification and is close to completing her Level 3 in Early Years Education. She is also Paediatric First Aid trained and safeguard trained.
Ruby loves working in childcare because of the joy of knowing she is making a difference to their learning and development.
Sally
Sally joined us in 2025 with an incredible background of 18+ years in childcare and school settings. She's NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualified and has completed a wide range of specialist training, including Managing Challenging Behaviour and ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) to name a few. She is also First Aid Trained and safeguard trained.
Sally has previously worked with Abbey in a nursery; outside of work she is a close friend to our family and proud mum to her daughter.
Sally's favourite thing about working in childcare is helping children achieve new things, and helping them develop new milestones.
